  Building Capacity Through Connecting People

Welcome to the FHI 360 Center for Global Connections. We are a leader in designing international exchanges that promote leadership, professional development, and global collaboration.  For nearly 30 years, the Center has worked to strengthen grassroots citizen diplomacy by providing opportunities for U.S. and international emerging leaders to develop their skills, make valuable global contacts, and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s society and culture.

Our mission is to provide current and future leaders with a platform from which they can enhance cross-cultural understanding and share information through people-to-people contact with counterparts in a global arena.

Since 1979 we have developed high-level, innovative international exchange projects for visitors from all corners of the globe and in a wide range of disciplines and sectors. As such, we are an established private sector leader in the field of international exchanges and training, providing excellent program development, management, and support in the United States and abroad.

Our strengths in program conceptualization and design, as well as in contract administration, financial management, travel logistics, reporting, and evaluation ensure successful programs from start to finish. We also pride ourselves in assisting program participants in developing sustainable and innovative methods to maintain long-term relationships long after initial programs have been completed.

If your organization, business, or government agency is interested in developing international professional development and leadership programs or discussing other partnership opportunities, please contact us.

As social and economic problems become more global in nature, the need for professional collaboration across borders also increases.
